【Campus News】- Semester 2, Academic Year 114: "Submission of Graduate Thesis Topics and Supervisors
The online thesis topic and supervisor submission system for the second semester of the 2015 academic year is open from June 1st to July 25th, 2016. Graduate students (doctoral, master's, and part-time master's students) who fail to submit their theses online will not be eligible to apply for the degree examination in the first semester of the 2016 academic year.
I. The qualifications for thesis supervisors are comparable to those of the degree examination committee members. Please refer to Article 8 of the Graduate Degree Examination Regulations and Point 2 of the University's Guidelines for the Appointment and Replacement of Supervisors. Graduate students must submit their theses online no later than the semester before the degree examination, in accordance with Section 2, Paragraph 4 of the University's Guidelines for the Appointment and Replacement of Supervisors.
II. Students whose academic status is registered and meets the department's requirements this semester, after discussing and obtaining approval from their advisor and determining a topic that aligns with the department's major, should log in to the SSO Single Entry Service Network/Academic Affairs Information System/Master's/Doctoral Thesis/Thesis Title and Advisor Submission during the system's open period, fill in the relevant information (those with a co-advisor must also fill in the information), print the submission form, have it signed and stamped by the thesis advisor, and then submit it to the department for review.
III. Students who have already submitted their applications this semester do not need to submit them again. If a change of advisor is required, please fill out the "Application Form for Change of Advisor for Master's/Doctoral Students," have it signed and stamped by the advisor and department, keep the original copy for the department, and send a copy to the Curriculum and Teaching Section of the Academic Affairs Office for processing the change.
IV. Department staff's system review authority (adding/deleting/modifying) is valid until July 30, 2026. This semester's student roster should be submitted by each department/institute in a meeting to review it by September 24th, 2026. Submitted thesis topics must be consistent with the department/institute's major. The printed roster and meeting minutes should be submitted to the Teaching and Learning Section of the Academic Affairs Office for filing.
