Launch of the 2025 Academic Year Outstanding and Excellent Teacher Voting Campaign
The online voting system for the Outstanding and Excellent Teacher Awards for Academic Year 2025 will be open from Monday, June 1, 2026, to Friday, July 31, 2026. Kindly encourage students to actively participate in the online voting process. Details are as follows:
Description
1. Eligibility Requirements for Teacher Candidates and Student Voters
(1) Teacher Candidate Eligibility:
Full-time faculty members and full-time non-tenure-track teaching personnel who have taught at the University for at least two academic years (calculated up to July 31, 2026) are eligible for nomination, provided that their average teaching hours over the previous two academic years meet the University’s teaching workload regulations.
(2) Student Voting Eligibility:
Current students who have taken courses taught by at least three (inclusive) full-time faculty members or full-time non-tenure-track teaching personnel during Academic Year 2025 are eligible to vote. Graduating students leaving the University before July 31 must complete the voting process before applying for graduation clearance procedures.
2. Restrictions on Previous Award Recipients
According to Article 9 of the University’s “Regulations for the Selection and Awards of Outstanding and Excellent Teachers,” recipients of the Outstanding Teacher Award may not be recommended again within four years. Therefore, award recipients from Academic Years 2021 to 2024 are not eligible for selection this year.
3. Voting Instructions
The voting process is anonymous. Once the “Confirm Vote” button is clicked, the vote is considered complete and cannot be changed or resubmitted. Students are advised to vote carefully.

5. Participation Incentives
To encourage student participation, 30 currently enrolled students who complete the voting process will be randomly selected to receive small gifts after the voting period ends. In response to adjustments in the course registration schedule for the new semester, all units are kindly requested to help promote the voting activity in order to protect students’ voting rights and increase voter participation.
