2026 Taiwan Tourism Association Scholarships – Now Accepting Applications!

【Tourism Research Scholarship】
Apply your expertise and innovative thinking to explore tourism-related topics and create practical value. Topics may range from industry development and public policy to marketing and market analysis, contributing fresh momentum to Taiwan’s tourism industry.

The top three winners will receive scholarships of NT$200,000, NT$100,000, and NT$50,000 respectively. Applications may be submitted individually or as a team. Eligibility is open to university students and above currently studying in Taiwan, regardless of nationality or academic discipline, as long as the research topic is related to tourism.

【“Unmissable Taiwan Journey” Short Video Scholarship】
Use a 90-second Instagram REELS video to make the world fall in love with Taiwan.

From mountains to coastlines, adventure travel to slow living, and the warmth of local culture, last year’s award-winning videos showcased the Pacific blue of Hualien and Taitung, Jiufen and Alishan, the timeless charm of Dadaocheng, and the possibilities of sustainable tourism. Students are invited to use Instagram REELS to highlight Taiwan’s unique appeal and tell the world: “You really have to come to Taiwan — and keep coming back!”

Eligibility: Students currently enrolled in senior high schools, vocational schools, colleges, or universities in Taiwan (individual or team participation allowed).
Scholarships for the top three winners are NT$50,000, NT$30,000, and NT$20,000 respectively, with honorable mention awards of NT$10,000.

Both scholarship programs close for applications at 6:00 PM on October 5, 2026.
