Ministry of Education 2026 "Practical Training Site Equipment Improvement Project" Subsidy Program -
I. This will be handled in accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter dated February 11, 2026 (Taiwan Education Technology (III) No. 1152300377).
II. The types of subsidies and subsidy amounts for 2026 are as follows:
(I) Teaching Practice Site Construction Project (Category A): This is a 3-year subsidy program. Schools must submit a project concept, which must be reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Education in writing and in a briefing. Subsidies will be provided based on the actual needs of the project. Each application for subsidy is limited to NT$50 million, and the capital expenditure shall not exceed 20%; schools must also allocate a 15% matching fund.
(II) Curriculum, Faculty, and Equipment Improvement Project (Category B): This is a 1-year subsidy program. Schools must submit a project proposal, which must be reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Education in writing. Subsidies will be provided based on the actual needs of the project. Each application for subsidy is limited to NT$5 million, and the capital expenditure shall not exceed 50%; schools must also allocate a 15% matching fund.
III. An internal briefing session on this application will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026, in Conference Room AC224, 2nd Floor, International Conference Hall. Interested departments, institutes, and faculty members are encouraged to attend.
IV. As Category A projects require the university president to serve as the project leader, faculty members or teams intending to apply for Category A projects should contact the Office of Research and Development (Ext. 2532) by Friday, March 6th, 2026, to facilitate integration.
V. Departments, institutes, and faculty members intending to apply for Category B projects should contact the Office of Research and Development by Friday, March 6th, 2026, to express their interest, and submit a complete project proposal to the Office of Research and Development by Friday, March 13th, 2026, for review.
