Applications for the National Science Council's 2026 "College Student Research Project" are now open

Subject: Applications for the National Science Council's 2026 "Institute Student Research Project" are now open. Applicants must have their supervising professors review their applications by February 23, 2026 (before 5 PM). Supervising professors must then confirm the applications online through the National Science Council system before submitting them. Our university's Research and Development Office will prepare a list and send it to the Legislative Yuan within the deadline. Please check and cooperate.

Notes:
I. This is in accordance with the National Science Council's letter dated December 22, 2025 (No. 1140088872).
II. Applications for the National Science Council's Institute Student Research Project are now entirely online. Application forms and related documents must be scanned and uploaded electronically. Students and supervising professors must complete the online application submission process by February 23, 2026 (before 5 PM) according to our university's regulations.

III. Project Submission Procedure: Students upload project content materials to the National Science Council (NSC) system. The supervising professor reviews the relevant materials through the NSC system by February 23, 2026 (before 5 PM). After confirmation, the online system submits the application. The department head prints a roster and supporting documents for the students' six-hour academic ethics education course by February 24, 2026 (before 12 PM). After departmental approval, these documents are submitted to the Research and Development Office for compilation and a formal letter to the NSC for review.

IV. Online preparation of this project application form includes:

(1) Data input for Form C801.

(2) Downloading blank Word files for Forms C802, C803, and C804.

(3) Uploading edited files (PDF format) of Forms C802, C803, and C804.

(4) Supervising professor's personal information form (including a list of publications for the past five years).

(5) Supervising professor's selection of compliance with academic ethics guidelines. (6) Upload the original copies of the student's academic transcripts.

(7) Other documents related to the project that may aid in the review process (optional).

V.
