Weiwuying hosts the "2026 International Forum and Workshop on Art Learning and Promotion"

I. Event Name: 2026 International Forum and Workshop on the Promotion of Art Learning.

II. Event Description: The theme of this year's international forum is "Initiating the Future," with a focus on shared artistic experiences and local connections. The two-day forum will feature 6 international speakers, 10 Taiwanese speakers, and 27 panelists, comprising 4 sessions and 1 panel discussion. In addition, 4 workshops and 2 friendly learning workshops are planned for participation.

III. Registration Period: From now until December 29, 2025, until all places are filled.

IV. Forum Information:

(I) Time: January 26 and 27, 2026 (Monday and Tuesday), 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

(II) Location: Performance Hall, Weiwuying National Arts and Culture Center.

(III) Registration Fee: Single-day ticket NT$600, Two-day ticket NT$1,000 (includes lunch, refreshments, and simultaneous Chinese-English interpretation equipment).

V. Empowerment Workshop Information: All workshops are conducted in English, with step-by-step English-Chinese interpretation provided.

(I) Workshop 1: English National Ballet – Teacher Empowerment for Dance Health and Inclusion.

1. Time: January 22nd and 23rd, 2026 (Thursday and Friday), 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

2. Lecturer: English National Ballet.

3. Registration Fee: NT$3,200.

(II) Workshop 2: Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts – Aesthetic Education.

1. Time: January 24th, 2026 (Saturday), 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

2. Lecturer: Jean E. Taylor (Director of Instructional Arts Programs, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts).

3. Registration Fee: NT$1,600.

(III) Workshop 3: El Sistema – The Key to Social Change – The Power of Musical Co-creation.

1. Time: January 25, 2026 (Sunday), 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

2. Workshop Moderator: Marshall Marcus (Founder and Chairman of the Board of Music Systems Education Europe, Executive Director and Artistic Director of the European Union Youth Orchestra).

3. Registration Fee: NT$1,600.

(IV) Workshop Four: Dresden Civic Stage, Germany – Intergenerational Co-creation of Theatrical Aesthetics and Methods.

1. Time: January 25, 2026 (Sunday), 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

2. Workshop Moderator: Christiane Lehmann (Artistic Director of Civic Stage, Dresden State Theatre, Germany).

3. Registration Fee: NT$1,600.

VI. Friendly Learning Workshop Information:

(I) A deposit of NT$300 will be collected per group per session, refundable on the day of the event.

(II) Number of participants per session: 10 groups (1 participant + 1 accompanying person, registration must be in pairs).

(III) Workshop facilitators: Dance artists and musicians from the English National Ballet.

1. "Seniority x English National Ballet" Dance Workshop - Parkinson's Inclusion, January 24, 2026 (Saturday), 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM.

2. "Seniority x English National Ballet" Dance Workshop - Dementia-Friendly, January 24, 2026 (Saturday), 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM.
