Speaker Introduction
Dr. Jisu Huh is currently the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Affairs in the College of Arts and Sciences, Professor of Advertising, and Raymond O. Mithun Chair Professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Minnesota. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Advertising, the flagship journal of the American Academy of Advertising (AAA) and the highest-ranked international academic journal in the fields of communication, advertising, strategic communication, and marketing communication. As a former AAA president, Dr. Huh is internationally renowned for his contributions to the advancement of advertising and communication scholarship and has served on the editorial boards of several leading journals in these fields. Her research covers computational advertising and public relations, social media influencer marketing, the application of artificial intelligence in strategic communication, consumer trust and message diffusion, and direct-to-consumer healthcare advertising. She leads the Minnesota Computational Advertising Lab (MCAL), which conducts interdisciplinary research.
