2025 Southeast University of Science and Technology National Innovation Design Seminar "Smart Design
Concept:
Can "Intelligent Design by AI," enabled by AI tools, inspire humans to a deeper level of "Design Intelligence by humans"? Is the causal relationship between the two a tug-of-war between inspiration and dependence, or a fusion of innovative thinking and evolutionary wisdom? Through the practical application of AI tools in the design field and critical thinking, we explore how artificial intelligence and the human mind can synergize to drive the infinite possibilities of creative design: igniting a resonance and reconstruction of design intelligence between technology and humanity. Whether exploring traditional design in the face of the impact of AI or developing design practices centered on artificial intelligence, both are welcome topics for discussion at this symposium. Let us rethink the nature and future of design through the intersection of diverse perspectives.
Submission Categories:
A. Digital Media and Visual Communication (Graphic design, packaging, animation, film, music, interactive exhibitions, etc.… AI design integration and application or teaching practice cases)
B. Interior Design and Spatial Design (Spatial design, interior design and decoration, etc.… AI tool application and teaching practice cases)
C. Performing Arts and Popular Design (Performance creation, theater design, interactive art, cross-disciplinary aesthetics, etc.… Design case studies or teaching practice cases)
Important Symposium Schedule:
1. Abstract submission deadline: October 6, 2015 (Monday).
2. Notification of selected papers: October 18, 2015 (Friday) (email notification)
