2025 Yunchuang Cup AI×ESG Innovation and Practice Competition

I. Competition Purpose

This competition focuses on ESG sustainability issues and encourages teams to develop feasible solutions using AI or other innovative technologies. By integrating technology with sustainable thinking, students will develop practical and integrated skills, and explore the potential of AI technology in everyday life and sustainable development.

II. Competition Theme

I. This competition, centered around the theme of "AI Empowering Sustainability, Co-creating a New ESG Future," encourages participating teams to leverage generative AI to propose innovative solutions addressing three key ESG issues.

II. Proposal Areas Covered (but not limited to):

(I) Environment (E): Carbon emissions management, resource recycling, efficient energy use, biodiversity conservation, climate simulation, and disaster prevention.

(II) Society (S): Educational equity, social inclusion, smart healthcare, vulnerable care, and stakeholder needs analysis.

(III) Governance (G): Digital governance, cybersecurity, intelligent business decision-making, and risk management.

III. Entries must utilize at least one generative AI approach to address ESG sustainability issues, with no restrictions on the format.

Participation Eligibility

1. Students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate schools at universities nationwide. Each team consists of 2 to 6 students and 1 to 2 advisors. Teams may form across departments and schools.

2. Each student may submit only one entry. The same student may not compete in multiple teams. There is no limit on advisors.

3. Entries must be original and must not plagiarize or imitate, nor infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.

4. Competition Schedule

1. Registration Period: From now until 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2021.

2. Finalist Announcement: Tuesday, October 28, 2021.

3. Finals and Awards Ceremony: Thursday, November 13, 2021.
