2025 Hi-Tech University Youth Art Award Collection Competition
Items and content of submissions:
(i) Works of visual arts (including oil painting, composite media, printmaking, watercolor and acrylic, ink and gouache, calligraphy and seal cutting, three-dimensional and sculpture, video, photography, new media, and others) are mainly accepted. The media techniques and creative themes are not limited, but the works must be suitable for preservation, circulation, transportation, and display in public spaces.
(ii) Entries containing creative media that are not suitable for preservation, fragile, or difficult to exhibit will not be accepted. If the contestant still sends the work after evaluation, the organizer will not compensate for the damage of the received work.
(iii) Each artist can submit up to two (sets) of works for review.
Registration method and review information:
(i) Preliminary review
1. All "online registration" systems are adopted:
(1) Please log in and register at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology Youth Art Award Collection Application Website (URL: https://yaa.nkust.edu.tw ) to register online.
(2) After the registration information is uploaded, the system will send a confirmation email to the correct and valid email address.
(3) If you have any questions about the operation of the online registration system, please contact the organizer by phone.
2. Work Specifications:
(1) Take 1 full-view photo and up to 2 close-up photos of the "creative work". The photos of the work must be clear and no post-production or retouching is allowed. If found, the entry will be disqualified.
(2) Image Specifications: The file must be a JPG file, the color mode is RGB, 300 dpi, and each image is limited to 5 MB.
(3) If it is a component work, be sure to provide a full-view photo of the complete combination.
(4) Notes for various types of works:
① Prints and photographs: the edition and type must be indicated (for example, A/P editions must also indicate the edition); photographs must indicate the edition.
② Plane works: The total size of the work (including the frame) is limited to 500 cm wide and 240 cm high (if the work is a component, the size of the components after assembly should meet the above restrictions).
③ Three-dimensional works: The length, width and height are within 200 cm respectively, and the size and weight are limited to those suitable for indoor exhibition.
④ Video works: The edition number must be indicated.
(II) Review and submission
1. If the preliminary review is passed, the organizer will notify the applicant to submit the original work for review; if the preliminary review is not passed, no further notification will be given.
2. Please pack the work properly and send it to the organizer for review. If you want to send it in person, a receipt will be issued on site; if it is sent by mail, the freight will be borne by the contestant, and the loss caused during the transportation process will be borne by the contestant.
3. For works that fail to pass the collection after review, please pick them up within 1 month after receiving the notification. If you fail to pick them up after the deadline, the organizer will not be responsible for the storage.
4. Flat works should be signed and inscribed, and should be easy to hang and display.
5. Three-dimensional and multi-media works must be packed in outer boxes or boxes for easy collection and return.
Eligibility
Any individual or group with the nationality of the Republic of China or holding a residence visa in Taiwan can participate in the competition; For group participants, more than one-third of their members must be young artists with the nationality of the Republic of China or holding a residence visa in Taiwan, and the author himself can register for the competition. If the work is a collective creation, one person will fill in the registration information on behalf of the co-creator in the registration system.

Exhibition date: December 6, 2025 to December 31, 2025 (tentative)
