The Creative Character Incentive Scholarship Program Season 10 is now open for submissions!

The Creative Character Incentive Scholarship is a program initiated by the type design company and education team justfont to encourage students to enter the field of type design. Now in its 10th edition, the program has attracted hundreds of students, many of whom have gone on to become active young creators in the design industry.

Each year, after portfolio review and in-depth interviews, the judging panel selects promising students to receive scholarships and mentorship, guiding them to complete a 200-character typeface design.

In addition, a Concept Award and Honorable Mentions are selected. Winners receive certificates and are featured on the justfont blog and social media platforms.

Regardless of the results, the justfont team provides personalized design feedback to every participant, encouraging continued growth and improvement.

All applicants are also invited to join justfont’s type design community, where they can continue learning alongside peers who share a passion for type creation.

The 10th edition of the Creative Character Incentive Scholarship officially launches today. Details are as follows:

Application Period: From now until July 12 (Sun) 23:59
Theme: “You Give the Command Anytime”
Concept Award Judge: Aaron Nieh

Eligibility:
Students who are Taiwanese nationals or currently studying in Taiwan (including graduating students and international students studying in Taiwan)

【Awards】
• Grand Prize (1 winner) — NT$30,000 scholarship, certificate, Chinese type design course, lifetime license for Glyphs 3 font software, and NT$10,000 exhibition subsidy upon completion
• Honorable Mention (2 winners) — certificate, professional Chinese type design course, 6-month license for Glyphs 3
• Concept Award (1 winner) — certificate, professional Chinese type design course, 6-month license for Glyphs 3
• Selected Entries (multiple) — certificate and 6-month license for Glyphs 3
