How to participate
1. The Design Project, commissioned by the Industrial Development Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, aims to provide design students with practical industry experience, market demand, process technology, and other relevant industry knowledge through industry-academia collaboration, thereby bridging the gap between learning and application and enabling creative talents to connect with the industry earlier.
2. The Design Project will help students understand the development and overview of the industry, solicit proposals from outstanding teams from various schools, and assist selected teams in obtaining technical guidance, sponsorship, and other resources for design-based industry-academia collaborations.
3. The 12th New Generation Design Industry-Academic Collaboration Competition is organized by: Executive Yuan, Republic of China; Bing Creation Co., Ltd.; Hitachi Johnson Controls Taiwan; Yamaha Engine Research and Development Center Taiwan; Shepherd Group and Wangmiao Planet; the Children's Welfare League Foundation of the Republic of China; the New Taipei City Cultural Foundation/New Taipei City Design Center; and Gamania Group.
4. The total prize money is NT$1.44 million (please refer to the competition guidelines for details on prizes for each competition). 5. Registration Qualifications: Students who are currently enrolled in the program can register for a maximum of 6 members and a minimum of 1 member. At least one member must be a student from a design-related department. Teams can be formed across schools and departments.
6. Registration Fee and Number of Applications: No registration fee is required, and there is no limit on the number of applications.
7. Registration Period: From 10:00 am on October 1st to 5:00 pm on October 22nd of this year. Please register early.
