In order to encourage the development and design application of various sustainable materials and demonstrate sustainable awareness and creative design, Zhongyuan Cultural and Creative Park will hold the "Sustainable Light Environment Creative Exhibition" lighting art installation with the goal of "sustainability, innovation and experimentation" The competition, through the award solicitation activities, hopes to inspire young and diverse creative teams and discover more outstanding artistic creators, so as to promote the possibility of developing sustainable materials and the flourishing development of life aesthetics in Taiwan.
【Recruitment Specifications】
1. Entries must use sustainable materials as the main materials, including: organic materials (plastic, fiber, rubber, paint, natural materials, recycled composite materials, etc.) and inorganic materials (metals, minerals, etc.), and combined with solar energy or other natural materials. Luminous media materials use experimental and innovative thinking to construct light art installations that are both beautiful and useful. They use sustainable materials and combine with the site conditions of the park to carry cultural content and form interactions and dialogues with the public through space, environment, and issues.
2. The art installation time is based on the principle that it should be maintained outdoors for 3 months. Weather effects, installation stability, safety, etc. should be considered.
3. In line with the openness of the base, there must be a certain volume. After the exhibition of the entries is completed, the area should not be less than 300cm*300cm (for details of the venue and scope, please refer to Appendix 2 "Exhibition Space Plan" of this brochure).
4. The topic can be customized, but it must not involve specific commercial promotion.
【Participant objects and qualifications】
1. You can register to participate in the collection as an individual or as a team, with a maximum of 6 people per team.
2. All contestants should have a high school vocational degree or above.
3. People with the nationality of the Republic of China (those who hold a Republic of China ID card or those without household registration will receive a Taiwan Area Residence Permit), new residents or foreigners in Taiwan (those who hold a valid Republic of China residence permit).
4. Before the deadline for submission, the entries have not won the top three or received prizes in public competitions held by domestic county and city governments or above, nor have they been plagiarized, counterfeited or infringed upon intellectual property rights.
【Rewards】
Gold Award 1 winner: NT$40,000, 1 certificate
Silver Award: 2 people: NT$10,000, 1 certificate
Bronze Award: 2 people: NT$5,000, 1 certificate
Top 5: NT$3,000, 1 certificate
Excellent work: 1 certificate of merit (several names)
